Why we started the business
In 2016, two friends equipped with decades of health care experience sought to create an
aged care service that prioritised your wellbeing over profits. This dream idea of ours
resulted in the formation of Home Aged Care Services.
Our purpose is to provide services and quality care tailored to you, through our qualified
healthcare professionals. We take a more comprehensive approach to ensure that both your
healthcare and your homecare are considered.
What We Value
– Your independence: We believe in putting you in control of your care. Our
approachable carers are always ready to listen and assist with adjusting your plan.
We aim to provide you the best chance to live from your home like you normally
would.
– Providing services to suit you: Not every client is the same, and it is important to
consider everyone as having individual needs from their plans. We are dedicated to
taking the time to understand each member separately and facilitating them
according to who they are.
– Your wellbeing: Your physical and mental health is always of the utmost importance
to us. Throughout every step taken during your time with us, we endeavour to keep
you happy and healthy.
– Making your stay with us comfortable and easy: With a team that is committed to
bringing professional assistance and answering any questions you may have, we can
assure that you are looked after from the very first time you contact us.
– Treating you with respect and kindness: Our wonderful staff has been carefully
handpicked to ensure that you are only dealing with the best carers. We believe in

What is a home care package?
The home care package program is funded by the Australian Government, assigning
packages to those eligible in order to provide long-term support. The funding is not directly
paid to you, but instead is handled by a Home Care Package provider on your behalf.
However, the allocation of your package funds is ultimately in your hands, with you and your
provider working together to develop and manage the care you need.
What services are provided with a home care package?
A home care package allows access to services such as:
– Nursing and advanced care planning
– Shopping, meals and food preparation
– Cleaning, spring cleaning, laundry, chores and garden maintenance
– Bathing, hygiene and grooming (personal care)
– Basic home modifications and aids to stay independent
– Transportation
– Social outings, groups and visitors
– Podiatry, physiotherapy and all other allied health services
– Continence
Please note that things such as mortgage, rent and entertainment activities are not covered
under home care packages. However, home modifications and activities that allow you to
stay connected to the community may be included.
Do I qualify for government funding/home care package?
Home care packages are available to those 65 years old and over, who wish to continue
living at home, but need extra support with everyday activities.
You can check your eligibility for a home care package by taking the short quiz on the

eligible
before contacting a Home Care Provider.
Make sure that you’re eligible through the quiz mentioned earlier, and then prompt them to

work out things such as costs and the benefits awarded. They will then propose a package,
and it is your choice to accept it. Once this happens, services can commence.
